Our Journey Through the Years
2006
Jason, the owner, began his journey in the tinting industry by starting to tint windows and gaining invaluable experience working full-time at a local tint shop in downtown Raleigh.
2007
While embarking in a full-time career in electrical engineering, Jason pursued his passion for tinting as a side hustle. That year, he launched JB Tinting, merging his technical expertise with his love for tinting.
2018
As JB Tinting's customer base and demand steadily grew, Jason gradually phased out of his electrical engineering job to focus entirely on tinting. This pivotal year marked the establishment of Yellow Jacket Tinting as a full-time venture.
Up Until 2020
Jason operated independently, honing his craft and building a reputation for exceptional quality and service.
Today
Yellow Jacket Tinting now proudly employs three full-time tint installers and serves thousands of satisfied customers across the central region of North Carolina.

Jason is a proud U.S. Navy veteran with a strong sense of discipline, dedication, and attention to detail. A devoted father of three and husband to his amazing wife, Hilary, Jason values family above all else. When he's not hard at work, you’ll find him on the hockey rink or golf course, under the hood working on cars, or exploring new places with his loved ones.
Justin brings energy and focus to everything he does. In his free time, you can find him on the hockey rink, spending quality time with his girlfriend, or heading out on fishing and hunting adventures. Whether he's chasing goals or the next great catch, Justin is always up for a challenge.
Tristan lives life with a sense of adventure and a love for the outdoors. When he's not working, you’ll find him traveling the world in search of the next great wave, skateboarding through city streets, or kicking back with his homies. Always on the move, Tristan brings a chill vibe and fearless spirit wherever he goes.
